3 hours journey within 25 minutes-Now possible in India by the Revolutionary HyperLoop

Have we ever thought of traveling from Mumbai to Pune in just 25 mins? For people all over India, it is quite astounding when it comes to covering a mere 3 hours journey within 25 minutes! It seems the dream is coming true soon in our country. Since MAGNETIC MAHARASHTRA CONFERENCE  took place in February 2018, the chairman of VIRGIN HYPERLOOP ONE, Mr. Richard Branson has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government, the Technology of Hyperloop has raised a lot of amaze among the tech people.

Virgin Hyperloop One can help India become a global transportation pioneer and forge a new world-changing industry. The Pune-Mumbai route is an ideal first  as part of a national hyperloop network that will dramatically reduce travel times between most of India’s major cities to under two hours,”  -Virgin Hyperloop One Chairman stated

For people who are not sure, what a hyperloop is, Hyperloop is a cabin that almost looks like a High time traveling pod or a Star Wars traveling gear, that has the provisions of loading and unloading people and cargo and it will accelerate via Electromagnetic propulsion through a low-pressure tube. Exciting!! right? Its like the magnetic train projects we do in basic college education but it is as effective as seeming 2 far-flung cities come in a distance of 2 metro stations. Load passengers, Start floating on magnetic railings and Whoosh!!! within a few minutes, You are at your destination.

Recently Andhra Pradesh too has signed a MoU with Virgin Hyperloop One for setting it up between  Vijayadawa and Amaravati, bringing down a 1hour journey into 10minutes of travel. One can expect speeds reaching over 700 mph, which is around 1126 kilometers per hour. Currently, the fastest train in India would be Talgo at 180 km per hour, though this is still under test run.

The Pune-Mumbai route could result in $55 billion (Rs 350,000 crore) in “socio-economic benefits, time savings, accident reduction and operational cost savings, over 30 years of operation,” claims the billionaire.  The route will be 100 per cent electric and could reduce greenhouse gas emissions up to 86,000 tons over 30 years. Branson says “the Pune-Mumbai route is an ideal first corridor as part of a national hyperloop network that will dramatically reduce travel times between most of India’s major cities to under two hours”

The hyperloop one was actually a concept of Elon Musk, the Tesla Hero who seems to be presently not attached to this hyperloop field. “The Hyperloop will run on renewable energy. There will be solar panels on the top of the tube, wind turbines in the pylons. We will generate more energy than we need. It would be like having a power plant that also transports people. That and advertising means you can run a profitable business,” Manager- Gresta said.

Though it has been found that the cost of Hyperloop building is much lesser than building a high-speed railway system, it may take a total of 8 to 9 years to test run and kick start the system.

The technology for Hyperloop One is currently in the early stages of the commercialization phase after the successful completion of the world’s first full-scale hyperloop systems test at their DevLoop site outside Las Vegas. And, according to The Economic Times, India just might be the first market for Hyperloop One, ahead of the Middle East, Northern Europe and the US, where the company is considering rolling out its service.

We have always believed that India would be a tremendous market for Hyperloop. The Pune-Mumbai route is one of the strongest economic cases we have seen to-date,” said Virgin Hyperloop One CEO Rob Lloyd.

So let’s just hope for the best and the technology-driven country might act as one of the most developed nations in the coming future.. Yup, it costs a little but will develop the nation’s class and GDP all over.
