5. Ittefaq

An Abhay Chopra’s critically acclaimed film which did average business at the box office, but the entire screenplay is quite engaging and interesting as the entire parameter revolves around one and the only circumstance, but this storytelling is just amazingly done throughout the film till the climax and then the anticlimactic sequences. Now this crisp and precise film with a running time of 1 hour 47 mins starring Siddharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna in pivotal roles is quite mysterious enough to predict the verdict for the climax and will keep you at the edge of your seat. The plot goes as follows: A police officer investigates a double murder case that has two witnesses and both are the prime suspects as well. Their individual stories seem true, but there has to be only one truth. Wait till the end in this film with a mind grabbing premise for a devastating plot change which we bet you can’t expect.
